Worklog Details

In order to extend features around Timetracking, Minyaa Time has extended attributes of a Worklog.

• Worklog Statuses — Timesheet Management provides an approval workflow.
• Worklog Fields — Worklog Fields are a way to extend the Worklog details.
  • Worklog Field Plugin — Worklog Fields are a way to extend the Worklog details. 
• Worklog Types — Instead of splitting your Issue per type of Work, you can decide to qualify in your issue each of your work.
  • Manage Worklog Types — You will have to define a set of Worklog Types (Name, Icon & Color) ...
  • Manage Worklog Type Configurations — These Worklog Types will have to be organised in different sub-set : Worklog Type Configurations.
  • Manage Worklog Type Scheme — These Worklog Type Configurations will have to be associated to Issue Type in a scheme : Worklog Type Scheme, themselves associated to relevant projets.

Log Work ...

Minyaa Time provides different extensions around the Log Work feature of JIRA ...

• Log Work by Delegation — It is the ability provided to power user to log work for one of users authorized to log work on a project. Also, it will be possible to correct/complete the logged time from one Team Member.
• Log Work as Issue Field — It allows you to append, as allows JIRA since 4.2, a Log Work Field in Transition Screen. Even if it is a native feature now, you will need to continue with it if you want to benefit from Worklog Type.
• Log Work from Dashboard — It allows you to have, in a Gadget, a short list of Issues for which you can quickly add/correct logged work.

View Worklogs

• In Time Spent Panel — ... where you will be able to display logged spent time by different criteria.
• Through Workers CustomFields — These 2 customfields will show who is working on your issue. They will too allow you to search for an Issue where a user is/has worked on.  
• In Worklog Reports — Few Worklog Reports are provided allowing to aggregate Worklog based on different criteria.
  • Worklog Reports Concepts — All provided Worklog Reports share some common concepts :... Aggregation, Hierarchie and Flat views

Manage Worklogs from Workflow

• Workflow Conditions — A set of Workflow Conditions are available, mainly based on the evaluation of Estimates.
  • Allow on Null Original Estimate Condition — It allows you allow a Workflow Transition only if the Original Estimate is NULL.
  • Allow on Not Null Original Estimate Condition — It allows you allow a Workflow Transition only if the Original Estimate is not NULL.
  • Allow on Null Remaining Estimate Condition — It allows you allow a Workflow Transition only if the Remaining Estimate is NULL.
  • Allow on Not Null Remaining Estimate Condition — It allows you allow a Workflow Transition only if the Remaining Estimate is not NULL.
  • Allow on Workable Issue Condition — This Workflow Condition allows to evaluate if the current User is allowed to Log Work on the Issue, not only depending on Work On Issue permission, but also depending Minyaa Time rules.
• Workflow Validators — Workflow Validators are provided in order to control Log Work operation performed through the Log Work Field, and also relate estimation fields.
  • Worklogger Validator — this Workflow Validators allows to validate values specified through the Log Work Field.
• Workflow Post-Functions — Workflow Post-Functions are provided in order to manage Working Issues.
  • Post-Function - Start Working on Issue — This Post-Function identifies the current Issue as a Working Issue.
  • Post-Function - Stop Working on Issue — This Post-Function removes from the current Issue the Working Issue identification.
• Worklog Type by Workflows —  

Permissions and Security

As soon as its settings will be applied, the  Timesheet Gadget  may be the unique place where users will have to manage Timesheets.

• Time Tracking Security — Time Tracking Fields (Estimates Time, Spent Time and Worklog) need more security than JIRA provides.
• Permissions on Worklog — Some new Permissions and Conditions to extend the way to manage Worklogs for Issue.
  • Browse Worklog Permission — Project Permission Show Worklogs will allow you to grant access Worklog details to only allowed users.
  • Closure Periods — Worklog Closure Period feature allows to define limit date until the users are allowed to create or update Worklogs in past period. 
    • Create Old Worklog Permission — Project Permission Create Old Worklogs will allow you to override rules defined in Worklog Create Closure (if enabled) to only allowed users.
  • Update Old Worklog Permission — Project Permission Update Old Worklogs will allow you to override rules defined in Worklog Update Closure (if enabled) to only allowed users.
