Configuration

Workload Report - Issue is configured by selecting :

  • (1) Up to 6 Relevant Aggregation Criteria (See How Worklogs are aggregated and  Aggregation Criteria in Worklog Reports Concepts)
  • (2) The Relevant period for retained Worklog , based on Start Date and End Date . These dates can be expressed in Absolute or in Relative (See Relatives Dates in Worklog Reports Concepts)
  • (3) The scope of Issue to retained :
    • Among a JQL Filter, a Project Category or a Project,
    • Optionally, the Developer who logged the spent time.
  • (4) Some display parameters

Resulting Reports

The Report displays for each aggregation node, following the specified Aggregation Criteria, the Spent Time (on Period and Globally), Estimations (Original, Remaining, Effective) and the Gap. 

With an initial configuration

If you initiate your first report from the Configuration Page, you will obtains something like ..  

 Displayed columns are :

  • The Aggregation Criteria ...
    • in the sample : Project, Issue, Work Date (Worklog Date in day), Category (Project Category, non relevant here)
  • Time Spent : Sum of entries on the specified period (restricted by the worker if specified. Not here)
  • Cumulated : Sum of all entries on all issues without restriction on period and worker 
  • Estimated : Sum of all Initially Estimated Time
  • Remaining Time : Sum of Remaining Estimated Time (entered or deduced)
  • Required Time : Cumulated + Remaining Time
  • Gap : Engaged - Planned

The URL can be review in order to remove non relevant aggregation criteria  (here reportElementKey5=CA&reportElementKey6=CA

With a more relevant configuration

After having read the Worklog Reports Concepts page, you know that :

  • The previous used parameters reportElementKey1=PR&reportElementKey2=IS&reportElementKey3=RS&reportElementKey4=WD have been added as a predefined aggregation Report Type : PR,IS,RS,WD ,
  • You can use the Report Type parameter reportId=PR,IS,RS,WD ,
  • And also try another more relevant combination .. by example : reportId=RS,WW,IS

Now, try with you preferred aggregation in response to your requirements.
