Installation ProcedureOverview
The installation procedure of Minyaa Suite has been deeply simplified with
the version 4.0. Since all plugins are now based on Plugin V2 architecture, the installation can be performed from the Universal Plugin Manager of JIRA.
Installing and uninstalling Minyaa does not require anymore a restart of JIRA !
The main installation steps are now :
Select the version to use
Like previous Minyaa Versions, each functional version may be released for different JIRA version. For Minyaa 4.0, two distinct versions have been released :
- Minyaa 6400.4.0 for JIRA 6.4.x (mainly tested against 6.4.12, the last JIRA version supported by Minyaa 3.5.2)
- Minyaa 7000.4.0 for JIRA 7.0.x
Identify the distribution to deploy
Minyaa is a Suite of Add On, and like older versions, some Add'On may have some dependency with other Add'On.
To simplify the deployment, Minyaa comes with different distribution with specific OBR file for each of them.
Provided distributions are :
- Minyaa Suite : It contains all Add'On of the Suite,
- Minyaa Core : It provides a set of basic features (see documentation),
- Minyaa Time : It provides a set of features related the Time Management, like
A integrated way to manage your Timesheets with approval capacities
The ability to apply Type to entered Worklog
The delegation of Log Work
The ability to Log Work on Workflow Transition
The Log Work Gadget on Dashboard
